Rolling Bones Barbecue is a community of meat and veggie lovers alike — led by, Will (aka Bill Bones), whose charismatic and quirky charm will be sure to get you cooking. Rolling Bones provides BBQ tips, tricks, and tools to help you to become the hero of your backyard barbecue. Their legendary tagline “Eat BBQ, Live Forever” says it all.

When we were approached to create a brand identity, we know this was going to be a fun one. This is a brand that doesn’t take itself too seriously and leads with a sense of humor, reminding their barbecue community to “go for it”... or as they say “roll the bones”.

The illustration system is a core part of the visual identity, incorporating badass veggies, meats, and skully the skeleton. The dice head on skully is a recognizable element that is a playful nod to roll the bones or “roll the dice”. You’ll also notice the witty approach to packaging with bold hand gestures and unapologetic illustrations that guarantee these rubs to stand out from the crowd.
